barryorba Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 hi part way through an oil change on the above vehicle ( no manual etc ) , sump plug out, filter out, got under car to check oil had stopped running and noticed large black hexagon plug on base of oil filter body, is it a drain plug. does anyone out there know, should i remove it or leave well alone. regards barry Quote

lazyb5 Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 :( i spent ages looking for a socket big enough till i realised it may not be supposed to come off. I now use a piece of pipe to syphon the oil from the filter housing. Quote
